Please let everyone know, that despite the events that are
taking place in City Hall, WCM board continues to work with
City staff on a funding model for 2011. So, plan to use
your annual or monthly pass as you normally do. We will
remain at Clark Memorial Pool and function as”business as
usual" at least until December 31, 2010.
Furthermore, despite whatever changes there are down the
pike, Walnut Creek Masters will persevere in its purposes:
serving the community through training and coaching to compete in
swimming events, and promoting physical and mental fitness ... from
which is bred our mission, that after a swim workout every swimmer
will leave the pool with a heightened sense of accomplishment and
self-worth.
Every swim makes for a better day. So, have a great
swim!
